De Vere’s £50m world-class Carrick at Cameron House resort is complete

Navigator’s client, De Vere Resort Ownership Ltd, recently opened its fourth UK world-class resort, The Carrick at Cameron House. The 300-acre, £50 million complex located within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park has taken six years to complete and boasts a championship standard 18-hole golf course and world-class Spa, alongside extensive leisure facilities and outdoor pursuits.

Navigator has worked for De Vere Resort Ownership for the past 14 years, developing and implementing an evolving marketing strategy which has included: feasibility studies, sales forecasting, extensive research into current and future global market forces, and the development of a suite of multi-channel marketing communications. Using this experience to adopt a proactive marketing campaign for The Carrick, we helped to sell a staggering £2 million worth of timeshare weeks within the first four days. De Vere had instead anticipated this level of business to take closer to six months to achieve.

Navigator wins project to promote Maritime Careers in Scotland

Following a six-way pitch process, we were recently appointed by Scottish Enterprise to develop a three year integrated marketing and communications campaign promoting maritime careers in Scotland. Aimed at S4 and S5 school leavers, parents, teachers and career advisors, the campaign will raise awareness of the maritime sector as an attractive career choice. Encompassing planning, creative development and production of a multi-channel advertising and promotional campaign, the activity will encourage primary targets to enquire about a maritime career, thereby encouraging increased interest and a steady flow of annual recruits to the maritime industry.

Blonde Digital – our new sister agency

Blonde Digital, a new joint venture between The Leith Agency and Navigator Responsive Advertising, launches this week – offering digital consultancy, strategy, design, build, security and hosting. Blonde will be headed up by Managing Director, Pete Burns, formerly Digital Creative Director of Navy Blue Design Group.
 
       
Chip Shop Awards   30/08/06
Navigator on top form at international creative show.

Navigator picked up two firsts at The Chip Shop Awards in Edinburgh on 24th August. Judged entirely on the creativity of the concept, we won Best Use of Plagiarism and the prestigious Chairman’s Award for a speculative London Underground poster that aped Apple’s iPod advertising. Our subsidiary company Target Direct Scotland also picked up a credit in the Best Press Advertisement category.

Another string to our bow...

We're thrilled to welcome our new client, the National Galleries of Scotland. We'll be running two campaigns for them, starting this autumn promoting four fantastic exhibitions. Navigator short-listed for another award!

Navigator has been short-listed in the Direct Marketing Category of the Financial Services Forum Awards for Marketing Effectiveness 2006. The entry in question is our Chip and PIN work for HBOS Personal Lending, and the final judging day will take place on Tuesday 12 September. Fingers crossed...

Navigator wins IDM Business Performance Award.

We won! Our 'Travellers Tales' pack for Visit Scotland Dumfries & Galloway scooped the Direct Creative Award at an exclusive ceremony in London last night. Boris Johnson hosted a glittering evening and the team, including our client Karen Wilson from Visit Scotland Dumfries & Galloway, all attended.
